When his hip hop group Soulcrate Music got their first camera, it started a love of photography that’s now earned Wes Eisenhauer recognition from local media to National Geographic. South Dakota is an ideal place for Wes to find those moments. Music has always been part of Mato Wayuhi’s Native American culture. But he took it to a different level by becoming a successful musician, score composer for “Reservation Dogs,” and making Forbes’ prestigious 2023 “30 Under 30” list. Learn about how the people and landscapes of South Dakota provided a powerful influence for Mato’s amazing work.
